3 Unique Valentine’s Day Philly Restaurants to Try in 2023

Looking for a unique restaurant that will impress your date this Valentines Day? Look no further. Here are three restaurants well worth checking out in 2023.

Double Knot

Address: 120 South 13th Street, Philadelphia

With a cocktail lounge upstairs, and a sushi and robatayaki beneath, Double Knot is another place to add to your list this Valentine’s Day. The underground izakaya, which in Japanese translates to “stay-drink-place,” transports your date from the buzz of the city to an intimate candle-lit experience. The only problem you’ll face at Double Knot is figuring out what to order and eat before you’re too full to go on. But that’s okay! Try the sushi and the Robatayaki menu and if you’re in for something extra special, check out the Chef’s Tasting Menu. Learn more about Double Knot.

Address: 135 S 18th Street, Philadelphia

Named one of America’s Best Wine Restaurants by Wine Enthusiast magazine, as well as Three Bells by Philadelphia Inquirer critic Craig LaBan, A.kitchen is the perfect place to impress your date. Serving incredibly detailed and unique dishes like Smoked Bluefish, served with potato rosti, pickled jalapeno, watermelon radish and cucumber salad. Learn more about A.kitchen.

Oyster House

Address: 1516 Sansom St, Philadelphia
For more than 40 years, Oyster House has been Center City’s family-run seafood restaurant. Run by third-generation restaurateur Sam Mink, Oyster House has been here since 1947. While that may seem like a long time to be doing the same old thing, it’s not! In fact, the menu changes daily in order to provide customers with the absolute freshest seafood available.

Regular menu items include, Lobster Rolls, Pan Roasted Striped Bass, Maryland Crab Cakes, Scallops and a lot more. Learn more about Oyster House in Philly.
